So, I started at the state at the right time. Its the end of the fiscal year so I had to use a personal holiday before the end of June and I used today. I used the morning to go to the social security office to get a new card, visited with the folks, then headed to the beach with an old friend. The beach was great. There weren't any waves but the water was nice. I'm still salty, sandy, and smell like the ocean but I love how it feels. I miss the beach and should go more often. I think I did good with the sun screen too. I don't look burnt... yet.
